It’s the little things that matter . . . A cherished recipe passed on from your grandmother, watching your child experiment with finger paint for the first time, a special dessert your family begs you to make over and over, or making time to squish play dough with your toddler.

Squishy Bags
In a sturdy freezer bag put 1/2 cup corn syrup with a bit of food coloring. (Blue, purple, and green work best for a calming effect.) Secure bag with packing tape along opening. Allow your little one to squish it around, mixing the color throughout. Talk to your child about how their body heat warms the bag. You can also use 1/2 cup of hair gel and food coloring.
