Zipper Bag Poll
Listeners sent us their simple ideas in response to our feature last week about uses for those plastic baggies. Thank You!
"No Mess Painting" by Julaine: For children, put a small amount of paint in a baggie and seal. They can make designs with the paint without making a mess! Put two colors in one bag to learn how different colors are made.
"Easy Lunch" by megan89: When I take a salad to work I put my salad dressing in a sandwich bag and snip off the corner to pour it. It beats taking in the whole bottle or bringing home a dressing container.
"First Aid" by Momo2: Ziploc bags make good "boo-boo packs" for my little ones. Fill with water and freeze.

Create!
Take a sneak peek at how creativity happens in the art barn, where kids create without self-consciousness: Read Art Camp. As parents of young children, we loved reading this article and knew we had to get this art teacher on the show. Marion Abrams will be enriching us soon, so send your comments, ideas and questions about how you can encourage creativity at home.
