Gregory Keer is an award winning syndicated columnist, teacher, and on-air expert on fatherhood. His Family Man® column appears in publications across the country, including L.A. Keer's how-to column, Today's Family Man, is published online on more than a dozen web sites, including Disney’s Family.com, DrLaura.com, Storknet.com, and CanadianParents.com. In addition to writing for Parenting magazine, Parenthood.com, and the Parents' Choice Foundation, he is a guest expert for articles in USA Today, Redbook, Newsday, Boston Herald, the New York Times, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Pregnancy.
Keer publishes FamilyManOnline.com, a monthly magazine that presents advice, news, commentary, media reviews, and stories for modern fathers. He has built the publication into the premiere Internet resource for fathers. His Family Man® blog and column anchors the site, along with his Ask Family Man® advice column, discussion boards, the perspective of best-selling parenting authors, and moms who write a feature explaining What Dads Need to Know to be great parents and partners.
In the media, he is a regular guest on FOX News Live for the FOX News Channel, and has appeared on Washington Post Radio with David Burd, the FINE LIVING cable channel, the “Good Day” radio show with Doug Stephan and Darla Shine, MomTalk Radio, Good Morning Arizona, and The Morning Show for CBS-TV in San Diego.
As a teacher, Keer conducts parenting workshops and speaks at conferences and conventions. Keer also works as a Parenting Coach and mentor, guiding parents through the challenges of modern parenting. In addition, he works as a high-school English instructor and student dean, educating students and helping them on their life paths.
But his true joys in life are parenting three rambunctious sons (ages 9, 5, and 2) and being married to a college professor of child development. In addition, Keer has authored children’s stories and graduated from UCLA with an MFA in Screenwriting.
