Sesame Beef Stir Fry

Source:
Listener, Katie

Why I Like It:
I made this sesame beef stir fry this weekend with broccoli and white rice - it was a new twist on beef and broccoli, and one of the easiest things I have ever made!

I bought stir fry beef at the store - all ready cut into pieces - good price, but not the best meat. I'm sure if you buy more expensive meat this would be even better. But we thought it was great, and my husband ate it for lunch twice this week and said it was great re-heated as well.

Ingredients:
1 pound round steak
4 tablespoon soy sauce
4 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions:
Mix soy sauce, oil, garlic, sugar and onions in a large bowl. Cut steak into strips and add to bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 30 minutes. Cook in wok or frying pan until brown - about five minutes. Add sesame seeds and cook for additional two minutes.
