Pumpkin Treats for Kids
Source: The Perpetual Preschool
Why I Like Them: These "no-cook" recipes allow kids to develop early math & science skills as they prepare their own snacks in the kitchen!
Pumpkin Pudding Parfait:
Use a bowl or glass with a lid. Add instant vanilla pudding and milk, following the directions on the box. Have children take turns shaking until pudding is made. Add one or two teaspoons of pumpkin pie filling and a dash of cinnamon. Shake and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
Pumpkin Whippy Dip:
To make one individual serving per child, mix two tablespoons pumpkin pie filling, two tablespoons marshmallow crème, and one tablespoon whipped topping. It is fun for the kids to measure the ingredients themselves and mix this tasty pudding.
Use as a dip for graham crackers, vanilla wafers or apple slices!
