The Woman's Field Guide™ to Exceptional Living |
You'll be reminded how to love yourself enough to put YOU on your priority list, how to infuse your life with gratitude, and how to step beyond burnout and into celebrating your life. You will feel renewed pride in yourself as this journey of self-discovery leads you to a sense of enhanced self-worth.
Just what is Exceptional Living? In my mind it is living a life you wake up jazzed about every day. That can be a mix of part conscious, intentional planning and part presence and attitude in the moment. This little book reflects that mix.
• Each chapter of The Woman's Field Guide is a handful of pages long and can be read in just a few minutes, to then be savored and contemplated throughout the day.
• Each chapter closes with prompts to journal to and/or exercises to transform the text from the book into your real life experiences.
• Read it in order or pick that chapter that calls to you in the moment.
• Playful and provocative! Sample chapter titles include: A BOLD Woman, Make Your Life a Celebration, Come to Your Senses, A Change-Savvy Woman, Invite Others Over to Play, Make More Mud Pies.
• The small size makes it the perfect travel companion for women on the go!
• 49 original illustrations contribute to the magic!

Our Favorite 10 Self-Care Tips from Corrie
• Practice silence. Intentionally set aside moments of stillness and silence each day.
• Let it go. Some things are beyond our control or we simply cannot address them at the moment. Be O.K. with that.
• Break down tasks into tiny, manageable steps.
• You age faster when you do not take care of yourself. The greatest cause of early aging is stress.
• Make a Self-Care Calendar and mark out times just for you.
• Stop doing one thing that you know is not in your best self interest. Perhaps it is taking that second helping of food, talking about others behind their backs, complaining to no end, pushing too hard to reach a goal, etc.
• Be willing to receive. We are so often masters at giving and yet find it hard to ask for help and to receive.
• Make one phone call or write one letter to reconnect with someone you have been thinking about. Talk about a great source for that warm fuzzy feeling!
• Ask reflective, empowering questions rather than "why me" questions. Example:
What do I need to let go of to move through this?
• Clear the clutter in your life. Remove the things you are tolerating to simplify and to
lighten your load!
